ACCESSIBILITY

The Wanted 2.0 is committed to making this website usable and welcoming for as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technologies. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our target standard.

1. What we do

  • Use semantic HTML (proper headings, lists, landmarks and form labels) so screen readers can navigate the Site.
  • Provide visible focus styles and full keyboard navigation for all interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields, the mailing list popup, the "Back" chevron, etc.).
  • Use ARIA labels on interactive icons, modals and decorative graphics where appropriate.
  • Allow the mailing list popup to be closed with the Esc key as well as the close button.
  • Maintain colour contrast for body copy and UI controls against our dark theme.
  • Provide alternative text on meaningful images (e.g. the photo of Max George and Siva Kaneswaran).
  • Keep page titles and meta descriptions distinct per route so users (and assistive tech) know which page they are on.

2. Known limitations

We're honest about where we're still working:

  • The homepage features a cinematic scroll experience with parallax, scaling and 3D camera moves. Users who prefer reduced motion may find it intense — see the next section for what we recommend.
  • Some decorative HUD typography (e.g. stencil and monospaced display fonts) is intentionally low-contrast and stylised; the substantive content of every page is also available as plain, high-contrast body text.
  • Animated background light streaks and TV/phone "boot" reveals are decorative and conveyed redundantly through normal text labels (e.g. "Buy Merch", "Buy Tickets").

3. Reduced motion

If animations cause discomfort, you can enable Reduce Motion in your operating system. We honour the prefers-reduced-motion preference where possible. You can also bypass the animated intro at any time by using the navigation in the header to go directly to Tour, About, or Booking.

4. Keyboard navigation

  • Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between interactive elements.
  • Use Enter or Space to activate buttons and links.
  • Use Esc to close the mailing list popup or to leave a focused TV/phone screen on the homepage.

5. Browsers and assistive tech we test with

We aim to support recent versions of:

  • Safari (macOS, iOS) with VoiceOver
  • Chrome and Edge with NVDA on Windows
  • Firefox
  • Mobile Safari and Chrome on iOS and Android

Older browsers may display the Site with reduced visual fidelity but the underlying content should still be accessible.

6. Third-party content

Some content is delivered by third parties — for example our store, ticketing partners, Spotify and Instagram. We do not control the accessibility of those external services. If you have difficulty accessing a third-party service we link to, please contact that provider directly, and let us know so we can flag the issue.

7. Tell us if something is broken

Accessibility is a continuous effort. If you encounter a barrier on the Site — anything that is hard to read, hard to operate, or unusable with assistive technology — we want to know.

Please send us a message via our booking pagewith the subject line "Accessibility", the URL of the page, the assistive technology and browser you're using, and a brief description of the problem. We aim to respond within 10 working days and will work to fix substantive barriers as quickly as we can.

8. Formal status

This statement is a self-assessment based on our own testing. The Site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA — "partially conformant" means that some parts of the content (notably the cinematic homepage intro) do not fully meet the accessibility standard. We are actively working to improve this.
